Finished...Complete...Over...

...thank goodness!!! I love my job, but tonight when I got to leave at 5:00 PM it felt SOOOOOO good!!! Our office throws a Tax Party every year, but this year I decided to come home and spend time with my family!! We are heading out to hit baseballs and take a bike ride. I am looking forward to the warm weather and vacation time!!!

Random things going on in the Watson House....

Yesterday morning I got the kids their breakfast and ran to make their beds and when I came back into the kitchen Victoria had her sunglasses on because it was SO bright at the table. I thought it was cute. I love this time of year. It was only 6:45 in the morning and the sun was shinning through...can't get much better than that!! :)

Getting ready for school...eating her favorite cereal...Lucky Charms

Logan thought it was cold in the house so he needed a sweatshirt. :)

On Sunday morning on our way out the door Kevin thought that my keys were in my purse so he figured it would be an easy job to find them...after 5 minutes of digging he finally deciced to empty the entire contents of my purse...(see picture below)...in my defense we had gone shopping the night before and I just kept stuffing receipts and things like that in there and with my crazy hours lately I was very well aware that it was getting pretty bad in there...

Oh and, Julie, that text you sent me during morning church...this is the reason I didn't have it with me. I am sure it is in that pile somewhere. ;)

Logan and his pets...this cracked me up so bad one night when I put him to bed. I asked him what he was keeping in his little Jelly Belly egg... "those are my pets mom" i looked a bit closer and this is what I saw...

His favorite Lizzard. I am not kidding you! He put that in there and it stay in his hand ALL night long while he sleeps. :) Crazy I know.
Victoria and Logan have been taking swim lessons for the past 7 weeks. Victoria loves it and Logan really could do with out...(that is what he thinks anyway)
The first few weeks he would cry and cry but the teacher really worked hard with him. At one point he looked at me and said, "Mommy, get sissy out of the water and take us home now. I mean it Mommy, I am ready to go home NOW!!!" The entire time he said this he was SOBBING. I felt horrible, but I refused to give in. Swim lessons are important to me. So I have been working with him where else, but the bathtub...
We work on going under....

....and "floating" I know this really isn't floating, but he is scared to death when the water comes in his ears. It seems to be helping and he is relaxing a bit, but still not there all the way. I talked to his teacher last Thursday and she is pretty sure he will repeat the class. :) That is fine with me. I just don't want to have to sit by the pool all summer with him because of him being SO SCARED of the water. I think we will get there eventually.
That is all that we have been up to lately! I am getting excited that it is warming up! I can't wait to get our camper out and spend some time camping with Kevin and the kids! I love that time with them. It is precious and we do so much as a family when we are all together.
Enjoy the rest of your week!!!

Wow, what a monster post, girl! Thanks for posting all the cute pictures of your precious kiddos. Isn't it funny how you can see a child's distinct personality (even if you've never met them) in a photo? Love the lizard story. That sounds very much like something Chloe would do. She calls her stuffed animals her "friends". Guess I need to make a better effort at scheduling playdates with real kids so she's not resorting to calling inanimate objects her friends. :)

Yay for some vacation time! Sounds like you've been very hard at work and can use some quality family down time. Enjoy the camper - it's supposed to be beautiful this weekend (at least out this way)!
