Nothing much going on here at the Watson household. We are just enjoying the fall weather and a "slower" pace of life. If you know what I mean.
Kevin will be busy all the way through December it looks like. Maybe even longer. I am so thankful for the wonderful husband that he is and how hard he works. Everyday we realize when the work is there and available how good God is and how He provides for us.
Victoria has adjusted to kindergarten very well. They have a system of discipline called "flipping a card" Every morning you start with a green card and if you disobey, you have to change the color of that card to blue, then to red then to black. So far so good. She has only had to "flip a card" twice. You wanna know why?? Something that I thought I wouldn't have to deal with for a VERY long time....she kissed a boy. No, you didn't read that wrong. She really did do it. I was a bit shocked when I came home both times and she told me what she did. The second time she was even smart enough to tell me not to tell daddy. Good luck on that one, Victoria. ;)
We have made it about 2 weeks so hopefully our little talk worked.
Logan is still enjoying his daycare. It is just an at-home daycare about 1 mile from our house and Sue is just wonderful! She has done it for about 18 years and just loves the 5 kids that she watches. Hopefully Logan will be starting preschool after Christmas break. He will be able to ride the bus with Sissy in the morning and then the bus will drop him off at daycare before lunch. He was excepted into the preschool because he has a hard time with some of his words. Hopefully they will be able to work with him better than I have. He is into John Deere and Caterpillar tractors and trucks. Can you tell that he is Kevin's son? He will be 4 over Thanksgiving and is finally making progress on the "staying dry through the night" thing. I am so happy. He got the potty training down a long time ago, but staying dry through the night is another thing. I told him that if he wants to wear underware to bed he can if he stays dry through the night. He has been doing a great job and my goal is that when he celebrates his 4th birthday he can wear the underware to bed. That means after 5.5 years of buying diapers and pullups...i can see light at the end of the tunnel! YEAH!!!
So that is what is going on with everyone in our little family. I am still studying and preparing to take a HUGE test for work. I am so out of the studying realm of life that is for sure. It has taken me so long to get back into it. Needless to say, I don't have that much free time to sit down and study. I have been put on the piano rotation at church so I have starting to sit down and practice more and more so I feel a bit more comfortable playing hymns. When I took lessons I played classical not sacred and I have had a hard time with the sacred part of it. We will see how it goes. I had also been suffering from some pretty NASTY headaches over the past 5 or 6 months so starting back on October 1st I changed my ENTIRE diet. I have not had a headache since then I have also lost a bit of weight too. I will update you on that on November 1st. We are going month by month on this new "diet" :)

It was nice to catch up on your family goings on... Sounds like you all are enjoying your fall. Good luck on not buying any more diapers or pullups. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!
What diet helps with headaches?
Hm, Well, Victoria is a pretty little girl! Tell Kevin he is going to have to start watching out for the boys earlier than he thought! Hey, my first boyfriend was in preschool - we were boyfriend and girlfriend until he burried my My Little Pony in the sandbox. Then we broke up! LOL!
oh, my word. i am cracking up about the boy kissing. :) i guess if there's any way to go down with flare that would be it.
Oh my, that's hilarious that Victoria is kissing boys already! Did she tell you what inspired her? Of course it's easy for me to laugh but if that were Chloe I'd probably be pretty upset.
Congrats on your new diet! Can't wait to hear all about it.
I was EXACTLY THE SAME WAY about playing in church. I grew up playing classical music and playing hymns always made me nervous. Even when I got kind of my own hymn-playing style I still fretted about making mistakes on the chord improv stuff. Good for you though. What a fun challenge!
Jared was 5 or 6 when he first kissed a girl. He was sitting in Sunday school next to Melissa and leaned over and kissed her arm. We had a stern talk with him but he said that he couldn't help it because she looked like an angel. The rest is history!
