Recently our good friend Tom played in the Pro Am here in Rockford, Illinois and he asked Kevin to caddy for him. At first I told Kevin to go ahead and have a great time doing it...he than asked me if I know what it was??!! Of course I didn't realize what the Pro Am stood for but I was pleasantly surprised that it was such a huge event here in Rockford. It stands for Professional Amateur Golfer. Each Pro is teamed up with an Amateur. Tom was the Amateur in this situation (although he played very well I was told and probably better than the pro!) :) They had a great time and as always Tom liked to get the crowd going! He has a way of doing that.
It was a beautiful day on a beautiful course...Maybe next year I will be able to go Mel!

Wow, what a cool experience! Much to Chris' dismay, I gave up tickets to a practice for the PGA US Open in Minneapolis. I could've gotten them free from work. I don't think I'll ever live that down.
AWESOME! My hubby would be very jealous as he is a huge golf fan and we've been to 3 pga events including the pga championship two summers ago when it was in Kohler, WI. Who was the pro that Kevin & Tom golfed with?
