When I think of you, I think of...
Your Strength,
Your Love for our Heavenly Father,
Your Compassion,
Your Love for your Family,
Your Tenderness,
Your Commitment,
Your Generosity,
Your Giving Spirit,
Your Always Wanting to be Doing Something,
Your Testimony,
Your Willingness to Carry On,
Your Love,
Your Love to the Grandchildren,
And most of all, when I think of you, I think of
Your Memories.
She may not be here for Mother's Day, and I know that she never will be again, but I do know that I want to carry on her legacy of being a God Honoring Wife and Mother.
Last year, I wanted nothing to do with Mothers Day! I didn't want to celebrate it because I wasn't with my mom and I wasn't able to hear my husband say "Happy Mother's Day" to his mom. I felt like if I couldn't fix it, I didn't want to deal with it! Well, this year, I am ready. I am ready to remember her memories and I am ready to be the mother that I am to be.
I am so thankful for the time that I did have here on this earth with her. She taught me many things and she gave me a husband who is loving and kind. When I started dating Kevin, I will never forget the way he treated his mom...always with compassion and tenderness.
She is in a far better place now! Imagine being in the presence of our Heavenly Father! How awesome is that?
So, on this day, I honor you, Ma! Thanking you for everything you have taught me and did for me!

Heather-
Thank you for the beautiful testimony of your mother in law. I was in the Watson's campus family at Northland and have met few people as generous and kind as she was. What a wonderful Godly example. - Elaine
Heather-
hey! its your former roommate Juliana (Zartman) Elie. I linked to a link & found your blog & wanted to comment on your mother in law. I had the priviledge of working for her at NBBC & remember her as a hard working, kind, cheerful, godly lady--the perfect picture of a mother (and very loving wife). You wrote a great tribute to a wonderful lady.
I've enjoyed "catching up" with your family & seeing the pictures of your beautiful children. Have a great mother's day!

Heather, thanks for this post. I remember your 'Ma', and she did love you like a daughter. I remember she was so excited when Kevin found you. She was such a giving woman and a hard worker. I'm sure this holiday is tough for you and Kevin and all the memories, but you're right to be in heaven is far greater. God's grace is always sufficient.
That was really sweet, Heather. I can't imagine what a bittersweet time Mother's Day is for you and Kevin. She'd be flattered by such an honoring dedication.
Heather--
I too am honored to have known her. She was very special to me in the times I spent with her. She is very happy in Heaven. Thank goodness for the time we had with her.
I say briefly: Best! Useful information. Good job guys.
