Thanksgiving!!!!

Thanksgiving is almost here! I always look forward to this time of year. I enjoy Christmas, but I can honestly say that Thanksgiving is my most favorite holiday! :) This year we are staying home...don't get me wrong, I am still looking forward to Thanksgiving...I would much rather be in Pennsylvania with my parents and the rest of my family though. It just is not going to happen this year during the holidays. Of course I am sad about this. I LOVE celebrating the holidays with my family. My mom sets the MOST beautiful tables!!! I love that about going "home" during a holiday. I always look forward to her centerpieces and table settings. :) She puts a lot of love into them...and I am sure that we will remember this for many years to come!!!

So for Thanksgiving this year, I have planned a menu of turkey, ham, stuffing, potatoes, scalloped corn, green beans, cranberries, rolls, homemade apple pie, homemade pumpkin pie, pumpkin roll, sweet rice and of course Logan's birthday cake. :) I can't wait to get in the kitchen starting tomorrow and start baking....and this year for the first year ever I am getting help from my one and only Victoria! She LOVEs to help me in the kitchen. And to be honest with you, I love working along side of her too!! She brings so much joy to everything.

While we may not be in Pennsylvania making memories with my mom, we will be in our very own kitchen making memories between Victoria and I! :) This brings a smile to my face FOR SURE!!! Maybe we will start something this year too....beautiful centerpieces!!! :)

It sounds like you have a very busy day tomorrow! :) Enjoy your baking/cooking. Maybe Kev will give you a foot rub at the end of the day! ;0

I hope you have a wonderful day making lots of wonderful memories. We are making new memories this year too... this is the first year we are with Darrens family for the holidays. I will surely miss being with my family but it is kind of fun to do things different to create our own memories.
