Our Life

I have seen videos of Cardboard Testimonies before and for some reason they just have an impact on me. They are people, just like you and I. But deep inside we all have hardships, victories, difficulties and so on. We pass people at work, at school, at church. We don't have a clue if they are hurting.

When I see a homeless person on the corner of the street it just brings me to tears. I don't know the circumstance of why they are there, and it doesn't matter what those circumstances are. It makes me realize how special my life is. Yes, we have our own difficulties in our little family of four, but they are nothing compared to what other people are going through day in and day out. I have a loving husband and two beautiful children. Each night when I go to bed I know that they love me and am SO thankful for that. For now I need to remember this. When my heart feels the need to complain or grumble, I need to be reminded just how special my life is!!!!
