I have been secertly looking forward to today ALL week long. Normally I work on Saturdays (during tax season) but Kevin had a class today so I figured I would stay home and get some much needed housework done . I compiled my list of what I wanted to get done and knew I would even be able to sleep in a bit. maybe. The best part about today....we would all be home together by 3 PM!! YAHOO!!! I couldn't wait! I worked all morning to get everything accomplished. Victoria and Logan even spent some time helping me. I was so thankful!
Well last night Victoria had mentioned that she was ready to get her ears pierced. I had told her over a year ago that when she wanted to do it she just needed to let me know. Well for some reason she picked last night to let us know she was ready. So Kevin and I came up with a little night on the town as a family. Honestly, I couldn't wait! We made plans to run a few errands, dinner and then off to the mall for Victoria!
What a night we had. It was fun to just all be together. The kids were so well behaved and it was nice to just take our time as a family!
Getting ready for the big moment. She was so brave. As we were walking through the mall I had butterflies. She seemed SO calm. I kept telling myself she was a big girl and I needed to be as calm as her.

All finished! She never even flinched. She was as calm as could be and as proud as could be as we left the store.
She is growing up...that is all I can see in this picture.

awe, what a doll. how fun to plan a special time for her.
we have been really busy too... and i have missed spending time with jason... hoping for that tomorrow. (his day off.)
