Valentines Day Weekend

Do you remember when Valentines Day included roses, cards, candy, dinner, mushy words, time spent in our loved ones arms, etc.....while the love between Kevin and I only grows stronger...over the years our Valentines Days have changed. Yes, I got flowers and a card this year, and yes I know that my hubby loves me so much and I love him in return...but with 2 kids and our busy schedules we knew there was not going to be a chance to go out for a nice quiet dinner with just the two of us. We were talking about this on our way home from church a few Sunday's ago and Victoria (being the sweet little girl she is) came up with the idea of making dinner for Mommy and Daddy. She was so excited about it and made plans about it all week long. So this year our Valentines evening included a nice dinner at home with some friends and Victoria helped me make everything. I am so thankful for my precious little girl! She is caring and loves to make sure everyone else is "doing ok".

The flowers I got from Kevin...he also got Victoria a bouquet of daffodils. She was so excited!!

Logan was writing the things he loves for our LOVE CHAIN.

Logan's Love Chain:

  1. Aiden (his nephew)
  2. The heavens and the Earth
  3. MomMom & FaFa
  4. God/Salvation
  5. Mommy
  6. Daddy
  7. Sissy
  8. Grandpa and Lisa
  9. Friends

Victoria's Love Cain:
  1. Friends
  2. Jesus
  3. School
  4. Mommy
  5. Daddy
  6. Logan
  7. MomMom & FaFa
  8. Grandpa & Lisa
  9. Salvation
Logan was proud that he was able to write his own
MomMom & FaFa

Victoria was so proud of the table she set.

Our dinner plates even had menus on them!!

Our good friends brought there daughter with them. She was tired and thought my kitchen floor was more comfortable then her mommies lap.

We always have to play the Wii to end a good night!!

CUTIE PIE!!!! I loved her little outfit. It had hearts all over it! Perfect for Valentines Day!

I just threw this picture in...a couple of weeks ago we went to a Hockey Game with our Sunday School Class. For some reason when Julie and I get together we just have fun!! I appreciate her and what a great friend she is for me!
