Kevin and I have had a very quiet couple of days here. We took the opportunity to just relax. In just 2 weeks I start my "busy" season at work. This goes till about the end of April. We both know it is coming and we can't stop it so we decided to just have a couple of family nights to chill with the kids and organize a few things around the house. I have thoroughly enjoyed my Christmas and New Years vacation this year! The kids crack me up sometimes...I am pretty sure I learn something new from them each day. :)
So I found 3 pictures from Christmas day....Kevin took the 2 of the kids opening their gifts...

Logan LOVES Lego's!! He now has the complete city! He will sit and play with them for hours!! Although he will "take them apart" and doesn't remember how to put them back together again...so he and daddy spend plenty of time rebuilding them.

Victoria played this game with some friends a couple of months ago and loved it. She is pretty slick at it too. We played it last night as a family...you gotta watch her!!!

On Christmas night Kevin's brother Todd stopped by with his 3 kids. We haven't seen the kids or Todd in MONTHS!!! I think this is the first ever "posed" picture of the 5 of them. Some of you know Todd from
NBBC...and others of you know him here in Illinois. If you think of it please pray for him and these 3 children! Todd is no longer married and drives for SWIFT truck. He is gone for months at a time. It is a different way of life but it keeps him out of trouble...it is sad because he doesn't get to see his kids very often. We were happy to see them all. The 2 girls are younger than Victoria and both have difficulty speaking...but they are SO sweet!!! McKenzie carried Victoria's American Girl Doll around ALL evening. She loved it and I could tell that she would have took such good care of her!! :) Noah is all BOY and he and Logan play together so well!!
So a few months ago we purchased a
Wii. I was a bit hesitant on this purchase just because...I thought it was a phase. Well it is...but at the same time we have spent so much time together as a family playing this thing! The kids love it and I must admit Kevin and I do too. We will put the kids to bed and start playing it for hours!! :)

These two crack me up!! They were working so hard on the one game Logan got for Christmas...I think they played it for 2 hours straight while Victoria and I put Christmas decorations away.

They just wanted to points so they could buy bigger and better vehicles....I don't get this game....

I love watching Logan's face when he is racing. He gets into it and tries to beat his daddy!! I do believe he did on this jump!!!

My two favorite men!!!!

Sounds like you and your family had a splendid Christmas! It's so fun for me to see pictures of your kids and to imagine my kids as they get older and into those fun stages. I can tell from the smiles in that cousins photo that they were all super happy to spend time together! Enjoy your last weekend of your vacation!
