Lysol, Lysol and more Lysol...

So this week has been a bit crazy here in the Watson household. Sunday night before Kevin and I headed to bed we realized that Victoria had pink eye. We rearranged our schedules for Monday because we knew there would be no school for her. On Monday she got drops for her eyes. The doctor said that he noticed one of her ears looked a bit irritated but didn't think she would need a prescription for that. Ok...not a problem. We will take one day at a time. She went to school on Tuesday and when I picked her up she didn't seem like herself. Mental note to watch her through the evening and make sure she didn't have a fever. **Hoping that she would be ok since Kevin was plowing at the time and would most likely be out all night long** We ended up keeping her home again on Wednesday from school and made a second visit to our pediatrician. Strep throat and ear infection...got a second prescription and went on home. Ok...75 bucks later...that can put a hiccup in your budget for the week.
Friday night was Logan's program...which he did great at!!! :) He wasn't feeling so good that night when we got to the school and I noticed that one of his ears was very RED and HOT!!! Well after the program he told me that his ear hurt and he wasn't feeling well. On the way home he was crying so hard and I felt so helpless. So the next morning at 7:30 we were at the walk-in clinic and found out he too had pink eye and a double ear infection. aahhhh!! When is it going to end! So we are praying that since both kids are on antibiotics we will have a healthy household soon!! I spent the day wiping EVERYTHING down with Lysol wipes...not only did we have sick kids but we also just finished with the "WATSON CHRISTMAS" here at our house this evening. My, my. I am so glad to be able to rest tomorrow afternoon! I need it!! :)
I hope everyone out there is healthy and enjoy your Lord's Day tomorrow!
