A couple of things that I quickly wanted to post about and then later this week I will post a vacation post with pictures and all...
The best thing of all is that my 5 year old was saved a couple of days before we went on vacation!!! I was so excited and thrilled to have the opportunity to lead her to the Lord!! What a moment it was. On Sunday our Pastor had mentioned that there was a new track rack put up in the church. On my way out I decided to pick up a few and bring them home. Well Victoria wanted to look through it so I let her and didn't think much of it at all. On Monday night she asked me to read it to her after our family devo time and I told her no because it was so late and she needed to get to bed. The same thing happened again on Tuesday night. After I told her no, I sat down at the kitchen table and the Holy Spirit grabbed a hold of my heart. I went back in and asked her if I could read the track to her. I simplified it the best I could and about 1/2 way through she started crying and looked at me and said she wasn't saved and needed to be saved. I prayed then to myself that I would be able to lead her to Christ and keep a clear mind! I was so excited but I wanted to make sure that she knew what she was doing. We prayed and to this day I really do believe that she is saved. It has even made a difference in her obedience here at home. I am thankful that she is saved and that one day we will be in heaven together!!!
