On October 31st Kevin and I became homeowners. The house that we have lived in for the past 3 years we have been renting with option to buy. The Lord worked out all of the details and we were able to purchase the house! We were so excited to be homeowners once again. Now...time to get busy and get this place looking good! Don't get me wrong. We loved the house before we bought it, but we were only able to do little improvements on it. Now....we are in demolition mode! The first room we wanted to tackle was the main bath. I couldn't wait to get this thing done. One problem. I am SO impatient!! We (or should I say Kevin) started in on it the Wednesday of Thanksgiving weekend. I came home that day after work and expected it to be much further along than it was. Like I said...I am SO impatient!!! Kevin worked so hard on this bathroom and I am so thankful for the gift of construction that the Lord has given him. He was able to do it all!! Demo it...move all the plumbing around...drywall...tile...set the tub...paint and new electrical!! I was amazed at how he does it all! Every day he goes to work and I don't see the end product of his customers....that weekend I saw it and loved him more for how hard of a worker he is for his family!!!

The bathroom before...gotta love the multi color toilet!!!

BROWN, BROWN and MORE BROWN!!!

He tore everything out...down to the studs!!!

New tub!!! I don't think I have ever owned something this new!!!

The floor!! I have never had tile before...LOVE IT!!!

I love the bent shower rod! It gives SO much more room in the shower!! And it is so bright!!!

Simple and clean....

LOVE IT!!!

This is the first of many projects we have on our to do list...after Christmas we are starting in our family room...I am SO excited!!!

GORGEOUS!!! I love it. I like, you, expect things to be done a lot quicker (like if I were doing it, I could ever even get very far?)...why can't our husbands figure this out!!
