It is hard to believe that we almost half way through December!! We are having our first Christmas Dinner this weekend with the Watson side. They always have it early so it is out of the way I guess. Regardless it is at our house this year. So on Saturday we are having all the fixings of Christmas dinner....all I keep thinking is...food?? more food?? I feel like I just finished the Thanksgiving leftovers. :)

It has been freezing cold here in northern Illinois and I am looking forward to the warmer weather they are predicting for Saturday and Sunday. Then back to cold weather and more snow I am sure. After much prayer and heavy consideration Kevin and I decided that it would be a good time to branch out with the business. We have decided to start plowing. Well...I helped make the decision...he plows. ;) It has been interesting but a good move for the business none the less!! Now as much as I don't care for snow and driving in the snow. I am praying for SNOW!!! :) Hey...it puts food on the table right?!?!

Tonight we are heading to school to see the k-3, k-4 and k-5 Christmas program. It is Logan's first one ever and I am SO excited. He is a Wiseman. Apparently he didn't want to practice yesterday and was crying. Hopefully today is a bit smoother and tonight goes even better. He is SO shy when it comes to getting up in front of people. I know he can do it though!

Last month we took him to the John Deere Pavilion for his 5th birthday. He loved it and was so excited to spend a weekend with mommy and daddy.

Daddy and Logan sitting in one of the tractors.

He would have drove this simulator all day if I would have let him!

He probably would have taken one of these home with him too.....

He was telling me all about driving one of these....

For his birthday he wanted crab legs!! His favorite meal ever! I think it is funny that my kids enjoy seafood so much. Well our whole family does, but no quite gets it but my family!!! Is it time to go back to North Carolina yet????

I attemped making him a Lego cake since he is into building things with Legos. It didn't look like the picture though... Oh well!

His card from Grandpa and Lisa played music...he loves those cards!!!

I am glad Logan had a great bday!

I am secretly praying for more snow also!! If it's gonna be cold, there might as well be snow on the ground to help make it fun!!

It's obvious Logan truly enjoyed his birthday! And I think that lego cake looks awesome! I bet he thought so too. How'd the Christmas program go?

I really like Logan's cake Heather...where do you find these things? I would love to attempt something like that for Tony's birthday or another occasion!
