I went to bed planning my day with the kids and realized it had been a long times since a day was just for them. I woke up early and spent some time in the office before the kids got up at 8. We then had a nice breakfast. The boys headed out to an auction and Victoria and I headed to town to get her haircut! She was so excited. Earlier that week I had told her since the wedding that she was in was over, she would be able to get her hair cut an way she wanted. It was then that she informed that she was in need of a cut and color! Wo...Wo...Wo...back up and say that again??? You heard it right the first time. She wanted a cut AND COLOR!!! What was I getting myself into?? Anyway...I let her get it washed, cut and then styled. Pictures to come sorry. It looks really cute and I LOVE it!!!
We then did a little shopping. The kids are in desperate need of summer clothes and since summer is just starting to show signs here in Illinois I thought it would be fun to spend some time together shopping. We then headed home and met Daddy and Logan at a nursery to get some flowers and mulch for our flower beds. We worked for a couple of hours at home and then headed back into town and for dinner.
What a great day with my kids and hubby!! I love them all dearly and am so blessed to have a loving family!!!

Ok..I just LOVE this picture...someone that I showed this to had the nerve to make fun of his tie sticking out the bottom, the unbuttoned top shirt and the flower that is about to fall off. I think it totally screams... "LITTLE BOY THAT IS LOOKING FOR MISCHIEF"
Patiently waiting for the kiss....he did a great job even if he did pick his nose a couple of times. ;)
After the ceremony...at least his flower is straight now.

Just gorgeous! I'm glad you had a fun day with your family! It is amazing how quickly days go by without having that family time!
Opps sorry - me again...one more thing...I just had to tell you that I think the picture of Logan with the crooked flower and tie sticking out from under his vest is ADORABLE and just the type of picture you'd expect to see of a kid in a wedding...it's priceless and I can't believe someone actually had the nerve to make fun of it?!
Cut and colored, huh? That is too cute =) I am glad you were able to have a good weekend. We are looking forward to seeing you guys in just a few weeks!! Yeah!
