At first I wasn't going to get all of the decorations out because we are going to be in PA for Christmas this year, but once I started I didn't stop. The kids love it and are so excited about Christmas and I must admit...the closer it gets the more excited I get.
I still have some last minute odds and ends to get together, but I am getting close to being finished with my shopping.
Our family traditions are starting become more traditions because the kids are getting older. I love traditions and I love the kids looking forward to them every year. One tradition that we started 3 years ago was that we open our stockings on Christmas Eve. It gives the kids something to look forward to and always in the stocking are new PJ's. They get to go to bed in nice warm PJ's!!! Update on my weight loss goal...8 weeks and 13 pounds down! So far so good. I had a little set back over Thanksgiving so I probably will not make my goal for Christmas, but I am still happy that we are moving right along!!!
It is snowing right now in Illinois, but I love the snow. When it is cold out...it mine as well be white out too. :) What is your favorite part about snow??? I love how peaceful it is outside while it is snowing out. There is nothing quite like it!!

What a huge beautiful Christmas tree! Is it real or fake? I'm a big snow fan too. Especially when I can watch it from indoors with a hot cup of java.That stocking tradition is very creative! We do St. Nick's Eve tonight with little stocking stuffers that we'll open in the morning.

Evertying looks nice, and I totally agree with you about the snow comment. Ever since I went to college in Wisconsin I have felt that if it is going to be cold, it might as well snow! Natalie loves looking at it!
Alicia-It is a fake tree. I never cared for fake, but now that we use one, I LOVE it! It was given to us by Kevin's Dad. His mom only got to use it for one year and I was so excited when he gave it to us.
