We are off on our first real family vacation tomorrow! Normally when we go on vacation we are with other family or friends. The last few weeks have been kind of bumpy so we decided that it is time to just get away! It is also more than just a weekend away.
The kids can hardly wait and are so excited! I think they are more ready that we are! Kevin has said that he will turn off his cell phone (YEAH!!!) all day long and just check VM in the evening sometime!!!!!! That is so wonderful! One bad thing about owning your own business is that you don't walk away from at the end of the day. So I was so excited that he said he would leave his phone off.
I am sure I will have plenty of pictures to post when we get home. Please pray that we have a relaxing week away and come home feeling refreshed and energized as a family ready to go through the next 2 BUSY months.

Hey...I realized I had internet connection while sitting here at our campsite!!! Just wanted to say we are having a blast!!! Tomorrow we are going to take the kids to Wisconsin Dells! They are going to love it...I hope!!!
Have fun on your vacation, Heather. I just got back yesterday and I had a wonderful time. So glad to hear about your job! We were sure praying.

Let me know what is fun at Wisconsin Dells. My family and relatives (about 18 of us total) are renting a huge house near there and spending one day at the Dells.
hey heather. mom wouldn't let me bring my laptop on our vacation or turn on my cell. i had communcation withdrawal syndrom for the first 2 days. every time i turned on the tv or looked in the mirror i looked in the bottom right corner for a small envelope. after the first 2 days it subsided and i was able to relax. ;) have fun guys. tell kev and the kids mom and i said hi and we can't wait to see you all.
You know what dad...I am pretty sure that kevin would love it if I didn't have the computer here. ;) I was wondering why you didn't have your phone on.
Like you said earlier....what did we do before internet and cell phones. Doesn't take long to get attached to these simple things that is for sure.
Oh...I did finally make Kevin turn of his cell phone.....so maybe I should get off of the internet.
Love ya...I think I am going to have Victoria call ya this evening...she has something to tell you. Oh and mom...we are having seafood night tonight. :) Fresh fish, calms and shrimp. You know, Kevin only picked this love for seafood up from you. ;)
